Jim Henderson
Mr. Henderson was born on March 10, 1938 to Albert F. and Cora Mae Henderson in Dallardsville, Texas. He had been a resident of Lumberton since 1964. He married Myrna Joy Duplechan on February 17, 1961 in Springfield, Mass. James loved to read, fish, put together and fly radio controlled model airplanes.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers. His survivors include 3 sons, Butch Henderson of Lumberton, Buddy Henderson of Austin, Don Henderson and wife Jennifer of McKinney; 3 brothers, Fred Henderson and wife Drexal of Kountze, Bobby Henderson and wife Sue of Kountze, Sam Henderson of Lumberton; a sister, Debbie Gordon and husband Larry of Spurger; 4 grandchildren, Ethan Henderson, Luke Henderson, Emma Henderson and Paige Klatt.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Saturday, August 7, 2010 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 8, 2010 in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Garden of Eternity at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
